In België waren de veteranen te gast op de US Airbase in Chiévres. Daar hadden jonge militairen even tevoren samen naar een aflevering van de tv-serie Band of Brothers © gekeken. (Bastogne) Daarna konden ze vragen stellen aan de tweede wereld oorlog veteranen.
Toen de groep veteranen de zaal binnenkwam bleken er zo'n 300 mensen aanwezig te zijn die hen met een staand applaus ontvingen. Een ontroerend moment voor Easy Company.
